CHARLOTTE AREA EDUCATIONAL CONSORTIUM

Carolinas College of Health Sciences is a member of the Charlotte Area Educational Consortium (CAEC). This program extends borrowing privileges to the faculty of other member institutions for the purpose of supplementing the resources of his/her own library. Borrower's cards are issued to faculty members, upon their request, for the academic year (9 months) only. Temporary faculty can be issued a card which expires at the end of the term of their appointment. Patrons must request this card from his/her home institution.

Library privileges allow a borrower to checkout a maximum of six items at a time for a loan period of 21 days. These items may be renewed according to existing renewal guidelines. Privileges do not include Interlibrary Loans, recalls, or off campus electronic access.
